Yuko holds degrees as a registered nurse and public health nurse. In addition to experience in counseling and mental health, Yuko has worked as a nurse in the brain surgery department of a major regional hospital. Yuko’s interest in international activities began in high school, when she was an exchange student in the US. Since then, she has been involved in international volunteer and charity activities, with a focus on the volunteering in the Philippines and other countries in Asia. The mother of two, Yuko firmly believes that proper mental and physical health are essential for all people to make the most of their lives. She feels privileged to be working with UWC students, and is excited to help them realise their potential through good health.
