After a career as an Engineer, Rodney followed his passion as an educator and taught the IB for many years before becoming an IB examiner, IB coordinator and Head of Secondary School of the American International School of Bolivia. Looking for a likeminded community of educators, he left his home country and joined UWC Costa Rica in 2012. Inspired by the creativity, buzz and intensity of the campus, he felt part of a movement he could truly dedicate himself to. Up for a new challenge, country and language, he joined the UWC in Mostar in 2014, where he is currently teaching Mathematics and working in administration as Senior Tutor. He brings his love of music, math and motorcycles wherever he goes, as well as his big smile and unforgettable humour.
